Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her best-known role is Skyler White on the AMC series Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014. Both awards were for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. The actress fell in love with performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the later in the 1970s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also attended the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her journey in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Then she moved to film and television. In 1992 Anna landed her first big performance in the role of Arden in the 29th episode of Down the Shore. After being a guest In a number of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's In 1992, she landed the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons from the year 2000. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Gunn also appeared in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often built around the relationship between Walter White and Skyler, his spouse. Skyler. The strained relationship and eventual demise reflect the devastating end for Walter White.
